When young people ask me, “How do I find my purpose?” I usually smile and say:
“You’re asking the wrong question.”
Because purpose isn’t something you go out and “find.”
It’s something you create by the way you live.
What I’ve learned after decades of experience in work, family, and reflection is that:
At 20, your purpose might look like chasing a career.
At 30, it might be about building stability for your family.
At 40, it might shift towards giving back or mentoring.
None of those are wrong. Purpose isn’t fixed, it evolves as you evolve.
