Similar to above analogy, the kernel layer is intrinsic between the soul and all layers of Human Engineering. It is the transmission layer via which unmanifest soul manifests as thought, feeling, desire, action and perception at intellectual, emotional and physical layers.

It is intrinsic and unique in each human being. It’s like two children, born in the same household but one ends up as a law enforcer and the other as a lawbreaker. That’s because of the distinct kernel layer in each human.
In software engineering, the kernel is a program which is at the core of a computer's operating system, with complete control over everything in the system. It acts as integral part of an operating system. It is the section of operating system code that is always resident in memory and facilitates interactions between hardware and software components.
In human engineering, the kernel acts as medium of transmission between unmanifest soul and other layers. When unmanifest soul comes into contact with the kernel, manifestation happens – similar to the refraction process when the light hits the prism.
In another connotation, the phenomenon that is akin to electricity manifesting itself via filament as light.
Some philosophers argue if there is any necessity of kernel layer, when the interaction between memory and soul is sufficient to do most of the complex tasks.
