Intellectual personality is the third layer of Circle of NEW YOU represented by the yellow colour in the seven concentric layers. This comprises three main elements: intelligence, diligence and knowledge.
Intelligence is a subjective constituent of human body. Many call Einstein a genius, but some of his early teachers found lack of intellectual aspects in him. Probably those teachers failed to measure the super brain, which possessed higher degree of intellectuality than those of teachers themselves!
Every human carries a degree of intelligence. The measures may vary, but without intelligence humans cannot exist. Diligence and Knowledge are other two powerful wheels of intellectual personality.
Diligence enhances knowledge through consistency. Knowledge is the data layer of intellectual personality. The more information you have at your data layer, and the more you start applying it consistently – the more powerful your intellectual personality becomes.
More narrative on this can be found in the philosophy section.
Intellectual personality is the distinct feature endowed only to humans, no other species. It is the third layer of Circle of NEW YOU represented by yellow colour in seven concentric layers.
It is one of the most powerful layers of human personality comprising of intelligence, diligence and knowledge and takes humans to a level they desire, and they deserve.
One needs intelligence in the form of data, analytics, differentiated proposition - to be backed up by hard work and diligence. Intelligence complimented with diligence differentiate make one outshine in any crowded space.
People who only rely on intelligence, many a times, creates shortcuts - and lands into making wrong U-turns in their lives. So, treasure and nurture diligence in whatever you do.
The third ingredient is knowledge. This means knowledge of ecosystem around us including ever-changing situations and dynamics. This is data layer of the intellectual personality. The more you enrich this data layer and start applying it consistently – the more your intellectual personality strengthens.
As per Martin Heidegger, the famous German philosopher - the existential structure is the fabric of intellectuality, which itself is far beyond the conventional comprehension of intellectual personality.
In order to understand the multi-aspect interpretation of brain and its influence on intellectual personality, we need to understand how brain itself is structured. The cerebrum, consisting of the cerebral hemispheres, forms the largest part of the brain and overlies the other brain structures. The outer region of the hemispheres, the cerebral cortex, is grey matter, consisting of cortical layers of neurons. Each hemisphere is divided into four main lobes – the frontal lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe, and occipital lobe. Three other lobes are included by some sources which are a central lobe, limbic, and an insular lobe. The central lobe comprises the precentral gyrus and the postcentral gyrus and is included since it forms a distinct functional role.
On intellectual virtues, Aristotle beautifully elucidated five ways of establishing the truth - art, science, prudence, wisdom, and contemplative reasoning.
There are parts which have been discovered by modern science and many are still beyond its’ realms.
